Discovering God in Loudoun County

Loudoun Burn recap

We were honored to host the 26 Loudoun Burn this past weekend.  The testimonies I have received have been awesome!  The Sunday after the burn, the presence of God came down in power from the initial prayer.  He is truly moving in power and great glory in these last days.

Since the burn I have heard testimonies of people whose lives were set on fire for God, people who were set free from life-long struggles, and people who are now hungry for more of God in their lives.  I believe hosting the burn was a huge blessing to our church.  Our people are more hungry for the presence of God than I have ever seen them and He is coming in great power as they cry out to Him.  Revival is definitely in the atmosphere and approaching as God is drawing His people closer to Him.

One highlight from the burn is that we have noticed a change in the spiritual climate of our area.  On Saturday during the burn I went with a team to Dulles Town Center Mall to pray with those who have needs.  I have done many outreaches in this area throughout the years, but I have never seen the people of this region more open to the things of God than Saturday.  Almost nobody rejected prayer.  In the past, people didn’t want to hear anything we had to say.  Now it appears people are literally more open to the Gospel.  I personally prayed with several people to come to Christ.  It was awesome!!!

I want to encourage the entire body of Christ in this region to get involved in this worship and prayer movement.  God is working through it.
